Caring for your Jewellery
How to Wear your Jewellery
-Remove your jewellery when you bathe, swim or intensely exercise to maintain its quality and shine.
-Keep your jewellery away from extreme temperatures, humidity or sunlight.
-Avoid spraying perfumes and applying creams or any other liquids directly onto your jewellery.
Cleaning your Jewellery
Precious Metals
-To ensure your jewellery continues to look beautiful, we recommend using a jewellery polishing cloth to rub in one direction.
- Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal as they can cause scratching.
Gemstones
-Many natural gemstones can be quite delicate. Hot water, harsh chemicals and cleaners should be avoided at all times.
-Clean your gemstones with a clean, soft, damp cloth after wearing.
Cord Bracelets
-Keep the thread of your corded friendship bracelet clean by occasionally washing it with a soft sponge and mild soap in lukewarm water.
Pearls
-Use a dry or very damp soft cloth (soaked in water) to wipe your pearls to maintain their natural lustre.
How to Store your Jewellery
-Store your jewellery in a soft pouch or suitably lined box
-If you live in a humid environment, place a small packet of desiccant crystals where you store your jewellery.
- After time and use, gold-plating can wear down. If you’d like to spruce your loved niin piece up again/ add sparkle , we offer a replating service.
